This image was performed during an energy audit for a major university and clearly shows where a lot of energy is going...Through the roof!
Heat Loss at Eaves
These breakers proved to be faulty and replacement was performed after showing the images to the owner and electrician. The electrician now hires Pinnacle for all of their inspections!
Breaker Problems
This image was taken after removal of the "dead front" panel on a commercial inspection. Notice the Hot supply and Neutrals. It was later discovered the bolted connections were loose. This saved a potential catastrophy from happening. The owner didn't have a clue. The buyer was very happy.
Hot Wired
Notice the heat loss from under the eaves
Residential Energy Audit
Notice the hot areas (Brighter Areas) showing heat loss.

Enhanced Colorization
This was taken during a "drive by shooting" of a commercial low pitch roof system. After sending these images to them, they have since corrected their insulation problems in the roof areas.
"Hot Spots" on a commercial roof
This image is taken from an elevated viewpoint of a large area of flat roofing surface below. The yellow circle is the roof drain, and other "warmer" areas indicated moisture penetration.
Flat Roof Moisture
This view is of a hospital roof that has some leak issues to be remedied. The dark lines are from spray paint used to outline the affected areas by the assistant following the laser pointer from the thermographer
Close up veiw of Flat Roof Moisture
The active roof leak would not have been detected without the aid of IR in detecting the ceiling moisture in this bedroom.
Roof leak penetrating to the interior ceiling
After further investigation in the attic area, we discovered this was a nesting area for mice!
Insulation Problem in Ceiling
The dark spot you see here, was just a small spot when veiwed normally. When viewed here, with IR, it shows a different story. Notice the "hot" electrical box to the right. The wiring was also discovered to be faulty in this residence.
Moisture in the wall and carpet 1
Moisture in the wall and carpet 2
This night time scan shows moisture penetration within a crack in an exterior concrete wall at a major University in Washington State
Cracking in Concrete Wall
This image was taken during an energy audit for an architects personal residence and for him to locate and map out where his pipes were located prior to renovating.
