RESNET® & Pinnacle Inspections
Pinnacle Inspections is the ONLY accredited and certified Home Energy Rater affiliated with RESNET in western Washington State, independent of government, universities or non-profit organizations. Pinnacle Inspections owners and employees are Fully trained, equipped and experienced in all aspects of building construction and technologies, Pinnacle will provide you with the in depth and accurate information you require. We offer two types of Energy Efficiency Services: Option #1: Simple blower door and Infrared Thermal Imaging scanning of the building envelope. General inspection of the insulation values, integrity and workmanship of walls, ceilings, floors, doors and windows. Visual inspection and evaluation of furnace and water heater. Reporting of findings and recommendations with digital photos sent approximately 1 week after assessment.
Option #2: Includes all of the above and...Complete diagnostic evaluation of building envelope and ductwork systems. Data collection of all measurements of building envelope components and output readings of pressure testing systems. Input and interpretation of data into computer software to run energy improvement analysis for documentation of performance of current building compared to improved building and associated costs, savings and pay back estimates. Report with findings and recommendations sent approximately 2 weeks post assessment.

A home energy rating will educate you about the condition of a home's energy performance. Choosing a RESNET rater member means that you are selecting someone you can trust to objectively provide you with a comprehensive analysis of the home's major energy systems and components. RESNET rater members are trained and have demonstrated technical proficiency and have committed to maintain and improve their technical proficiency through continuing education. Members are committed to conducting ratings in accordance with the RESNET Rating Standards of Practice; abiding by the RESNET Rating Code of Ethics, and disclosing any financial interest in the home being rated. Through their membership to RESNET, member raters demonstrate their commitment to technical and ethical quality.
